I’ve recently been trying to re-focus my blog to a more personal direction, writing creative non-fiction and tales from my childhood. Yet, the other “segments” I’ve created for my blog, such as Top Ten – still call to me. I feel like it’s time to do another. Cosplay Confessions is yet another monthly feature I’ve added to my blog, though I’ve sort of been away from posting for a few months due to my new side job. Every month (and maybe twice a month), I plan on featuring a different cosplayer and my interview with them, along with photos featuring their cosplays. This will not only be beneficial to the cosplayers themselves – because any publicity is good publicity when it comes to updating your fans on which conventions you’ll be at, and what you’re working on – but it will also be beneficial to those who are interested in cosplay as a hobby. Vermont Comic Con

I was recently visiting with a few of my writing friends in Vermont. Most of us went to grad school together, and so we still get together for mini-vacations and write, among other things. Last year, we did the same thing. I drove to Vermont, and I was able to check out the famed Mac and Cheese Festival put on by Harpoon Brewery (where one of my friends worked) as well as the Tunbridge World Fair. This year, I missed the Mac and Cheese Fest, but made it again for the Tunbridge World Fair. And, because one of my cosplaying friends (Cheryl Wild – AKA WyldRyce Cosplay) was in the area, she reminded me about the Vermont Comic Con that was still going on.…
